    Apostaclypse, the debut studio album from Stoner Rock band Astro Baron, was recorded late summer 2012 by Greg Roller in Branson, Missouri. This heavily guitar saturated concept album, based on classical mythology, the rise and fall of an ancient Paladin and his eventual rebirth and ascension. With spiritual undertones it questions our place in this universe as well as the interplay of individuals. First, blasting off with “The Wizard”, setting the scene, story and the tone of the album. Moving toward the sludgy “Keeper of time” where the Paladin gives his decree to the gods. As the story continues it reaches its breaking point at “Outer Limits” as the gods begin their search for their once humble servant now turned thief. Climaxing with "Spirals", a progressive stoner confession to reality, culminating a decree for all of those who should follow in his footsteps. Apostaclypse includes 9 hard hitting tracks ringing in at just under 50 minutes.
